“$pent: Currency, Security, and Art on Deposit,” was on view during February of 1990, at an off-site gallery space in the branch of a Marine Midland Bank.  The exhibition, organized by New Museum Curatorial Intern Luis De Jesus, focused on “ideas of money, power, exchange and trust in response to its setting in a bank.”  The exhibition featured the work of Jessica Diamond, Devon Dikeou, Donald Moffett, Julia Scher, and Gary Simmons, all artists included in “NYC 1993: Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star.”
